BellBrook Labs Announces New Transcreener ADP2 FI Assay
ADP detection just got simpler and more accessible. The new Transcreener ADP² FI Assay lets you screen kinases and other ATP-utilizing enzymes with a direct fluorescence intensity readout.
- Universal: Any kinase, ATPase or other ADP-producing enzyme, regardless of substrate
- Sensitive: Z’ ≥ 0.7 at less than 10% conversion; single assay for 0.1 to 1,000 µM ATP
- Easy: EZ protocol removes antibody optimization step
- Positive Read-out: Fluorescence signal increases as the ADP product is formed
Transcreener ADP² and ADP Assays provide the only direct method to measure enzymatic ADP production. To meet the needs of researchers who do not have access to a highly sophisticated plate reader, we developed a new fluorescence intensity (FI) format for the Transcreener ADP² Assay.
Like the extensively validated fluorescence polarization (FP) assay, the FI assay emits in the red region of the visible spectrum to minimize compound interference. The assay comes with an EZ protocol, modeled after the NEW Transcreener ADP² FP Assay EZ Protocol; simply titrate your enzyme and proceed to your screen.
ONE ASSAY. HUNDREDS OF TARGETS. THAT’S SIMPLE.
KINASES
protein (tyrosine, serine/threonine)
lipid (sphingosine kinase, PI3K (α, β, Δ and γ))
carbohydrate (ketohexokinase, hexokinase, phosphofructokinase)
ATP UTILIZING ENZYMES
heat shock proteins, triphosphatases, acetyl CoA carboxylase,
glutamine synthetase, ATP citrate lyase, RecA, helicase.
